Gorillasuit.com is being slowly phased out. I'm presently working on one last redesign of the site that archives all of the work that I feel is worth perserving a record of, but after that there will be no more updates. The site isn't going down and my email, arthur@gorillasuit.com will stay active but Gorillasuit will function more as a time capsule for the work I did between 1998 and 2005 and for the wonderful years I spent living in Chicago. Gorillasuit.com started as an excuse to teach myself flash, html and improve as a graphic designer, back when the internet was a new, shiny and exciting thing. Now the internet isn't quite so new and exciting, and I've grown preoccupied with other things.

Via Gorillasuit I made lasting friendships with a number of people and started correspondences with many artists and illustrators that I respect and admire. If you have never looked at gorillasuit.com please enter the site and wander around at your leisure, there is a lot of stuff there – some good, some bad, some embarassing. But if you want to see some newer stuff and (gasp) a professional portfolio please go to byarthurjones.com, my newer, shinier website. Thanks to anyone that visited the gorillasuit, emailed me, bought something from the store, or gave a shit. It was – and continues to be– appreciated.
